Two Model Profiles

Which Model Profile Fits You?

We are looking for two different patterns of male hair loss. Each requires a different approach to Scalp Micropigmentation.

Before After
AI-generated visualization of a man with a receding hairline before scalp micropigmentation
AI-generated visualization of the same man after scalp micropigmentation hairline restoration
Hairline Restoration

For men with a receding hairline or temple recession who wear—or are comfortable wearing—their hair very short. SMP recreates follicle-scale detail to establish the appearance of a cleaner, more defined hairline.

AI-generated visualization. Not a client result.

Before After
AI-generated visualization of a man with diffuse thinning and visible scalp before scalp micropigmentation
AI-generated visualization of the same man after scalp micropigmentation density enhancement
Crown & Density Enhancement

For men who still have hair across the top or crown but experience diffuse thinning and visible scalp. Pigment is blended beneath existing hair to reduce scalp contrast and create the appearance of greater density.

AI-generated visualization. Not a client result.

Not sure which profile fits you? Submit clear photos with your application and our practitioners will determine whether your current hair pattern may be appropriate for either model opportunity.

Understanding the Treatment

What SMP Is — and What It Isn't

Scalp Micropigmentation uses carefully placed pigment to recreate natural-looking follicle detail and reduce the visual contrast of hair loss.

NOT SURGERY

No Grafts. No Transplant.

SMP uses cosmetic pigment to recreate the appearance of closely cut hair follicles—without surgery or transplanted hair.

NOT HAIR GROWTH

Your Hair Doesn't Regrow.

SMP changes the appearance of thinning and recession without creating new hair.

NOT A SOLID TATTOO

No Flat Block of Color.

Individual impressions are layered and spaced to resemble natural follicle detail.

The result is visual: a more defined hairline, less visible scalp, or the appearance of greater density.

Treatment & Model Cohort Questions

FAQs

Do I have to shave my head?

Not necessarily. Hairline restoration generally works best with a very short or closely shaved style. Density enhancement may be appropriate when enough natural hair remains across the top or crown and the scalp is still visible through it.

How many sessions are usually needed?

SMP is typically built gradually across multiple sessions. The exact number depends on your hair-loss pattern, treatment area, and the amount of density or definition being created.

How long does the result last?

Scalp Micropigmentation is long-lasting, but pigment gradually softens over time. Retention varies based on skin characteristics, sun exposure, lifestyle, and aftercare, and a future refinement session may eventually be recommended.

Can my face and identity remain private?

Yes. Photography and video can focus on the treatment area without requiring your face, name, voice, or other identifying features to appear in published materials.

What is required to participate in the Model Cohort?

Selected participants must attend the required treatment sessions, follow pre-care and aftercare instructions, maintain the agreed hairstyle during the case study, and allow professional photography and video of the treatment area.
